Would you reccomend a "neti-pot" for dry, itchy winter nose? Also other tips?

I've laughed at people using them for years, perhaps I should enter the comedy. As I've gotten a bit older, I've found dry crusty "winter nose" as I put it, to be a tremendous annoyance. As of now, I've been going between bottles of gross Afrin
