Do you have to use Vicks in the humidifiers for them to work??

I bought a Vicks Someone feel good Mist Humidifier for my daughter whos 2 months. She's not laid up but she always seems to get stuffy at night when she's sleeping. It doesn't seem to be working...do you have to use Vicks in purpose that for it to work?

No. The urge for the humidifier is to loosen the mucous in the airways. Some believe that putting vicks in the make can cause pneumonia. I personally have found that the cool mist humidifier works better. Righteous make sure to suck her nose with a bulb
