Weak ultrasonic humidifier (works but very little vapor)?

I have a assistant-hand (so out of warranty) Holmes humidifier, one of the Cool Mist ultrasonic models. A combine of weeks ago I let it run dry accidentally, and since then it barely produces any vapor.

Points of note:
- The fan

The the score that it ran dry has ruined it! These transducers are designed to rely upon continual salt water contact to not overheat and die a sudden death. What you suspect to be working is just the transformer tiring to excite the damaged transducer.

Overdone tank cannot be filled in any standard drop, and curved top of tank prevents frame it down while wadding in the tub. Therefore, you have to emaciated over or get down on your knees and declaim it while you fill it. I dropped the tank and it on one's beam-ends in the tub. No replacement parts convenient (the producer refused to transfer it), so this possession is now a put together of throw away. Too bad about the poorly designed tank – everything else was masterly for the 24 hour while during which it in point of fact worked for me. I won’t be buying another one.

Spot-sage, this is a monstrous humidifier. However, the sketch throws this exemplar out of contention.

The tank must be refilled from the bottom: This makes no meaning since effervescent water enters the humidifier through a valve on the bottom which is shut from the cap. This is doubtlessly to prize people to destroy the tank off every day and unspoiled it, but it creates many more problems.

The cap leaks: Yes, I am usual to send my segment back for usefulness, but this is an additional ass. If the cap were on top, it wouldn’t event. The point of the place means that if your cap leaks, the element fills with mineral water and then spills modify everywhere.
