Could you use the small home steam clothing wrinkle removers to clean and sanitize?

I have one of those small-scale handheld steam machines that you can use for removing wrinkles out of clothing, would the steam that comes out of that be enough to aid clean and sanitize items around the home ( like piece tops, light switches and door


The spoonful hand held steamer is not enough for sanitizing. All it will do, is get everything wet.
By the time the steam reaches the covering you are trying to sanitize, it will be too cold to do any good.
