Can you put hot soup (perhaps boiling) into a food processor?

I'm making a mushroom soup but do not have a dole out blender to froth up the soup. I was wondering if a food processor would suffice. I tried looking in the guide to see if it advises against putting hot soup into it, but it does not mention anything
