Does a Kitchenaid with a dough hook have enough guts to make pasta dough?

I've always made pasta dough in my food processor, but it died on me a unite years ago. I have since used my pasta roller for fimo/sculpy clay. Can I use something to transport my pasta machine so it's usable for food again? Can my Kitchenaid make
