I'm buying one of these for my ex-trouble for Christmas. I currently use the venerable-daddy model DLC-8F which is essentially comparable to this model but for a smaller 450 watt motor. I was set mine back in 1985 as a prize. I've second-hand it perhaps once a week over those years......making peanut butter, hummus, pesto, salsa, chopping nuts, shredding apples, etc. and a selection of dough types. The malleable pan has clouded a bit but no cracks...
